To prioritize those who are at the greatest risk of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health issued updated provincial testing guidance on December 30, 2021.  The new eligibility criteria preserves testing capacity for those at highest risk of contracting COVID-19.

In collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, a COVID outbreak associated with three inpatients on the Medical/Surgical unit has been declared at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) Site.
