Volunteer Opportunities
The Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary is actively seeking new volunteers to assist with a variety of in-hospital programs. If you know of new retirees or other adults who may be interested in volunteering or wish further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Volunteers at lorrie.lamb@mahc.ca or call 705-789-2311, ext. 2297.
Scholarships
The Auxiliary presents a scholarship to a graduating student from Huntsville High School or Almaguin Highlands Secondary School who has been accepted into a recognized post-secondary school in a health sciences field, and also to a staff member at Huntsville Hospital who has been a team member for at least a year, and who wishes to further their education in the health field.
Congratulations to this year's student scholarship recipients (below from left) Ayla McNichol from Almaguin Highlands High School, Ainslie Vallentin from Huntsville High School, and staff scholarship recipient Amanda Weedon. Each of these scholarship winners is pursuing nursing studies.
