The Peter Gilgan Emergency Department at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site was unveiled during a special reception this afternoon in recognition of the largest single donation from a seasonal resident in the history of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is celebrating Local Food Week and is doing its part to incorporate more local food into patient menus.
Food & Nutrition Services staff at both hospital sites have been working to increase the amount of local food we serve to our patients and have prepared unique menu options in the spirit of Local Food Week, which has been provincially proclaimed as the first week of June.

The surgical program at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is expanding once again with another specialty.
Today marks the first day that ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery is available in Muskoka. The new surgical service will be available two days per month at MAHC’s Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site, established by Dr. Greg Price-Jones of Orillia.
