Frank Arnone

Frank Arnone holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Laws from the Osgoode Hall Law School. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1990.

Mr. Arnone is a Partner with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes), one of Canada's top business law firms. At Blakes, his practice emphasizes domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He also provides ongoing securities law, stock exchange compliance and corporate governance advice to a wide variety of clients. Mr. Arnone is the former Co-Practice Group Leader of the Private Equity Group and the former Practice Group Leader of the Securities Group. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer in several publications including: The Best Lawyers in Canada, IFLR1000: The Guide to the World's Leading Financial Law Firms, and The Lexpert Guide and Directory.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Arnone is currently Vice Chair and a member of the Board of Directors and Nominating & Governance Committee of the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy. He is also on the Board of several private companies.

Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Mr. Arnone is now an avid cottager on Lake Muskoka and looks forward to spending as much time in the region as possible.

Mr. Arnone was elected to the MAHC Board of Directors in October 2015, and currently is a member of the Governance Committee.  He has also served previously as a member of the Quality & Patient Safety Committee as well as the Nominations Committee.
