(June 23, 2009 – Muskoka, ON)   Mike Provan’s third year as Chair of the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) Board of Directors is officially underway.  Following the corporation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Burk’s Falls on Monday, the new Board met briefly to appoint its executive that will include Mike Provan, Chair; Gayle Mackay, Vice-Chair; and Sven Miglin, Treasurer.   

“I’m honoured to continue on in my role as Board Chair for another year,” said Mike Provan.  “I look forward to working with my fellow board members, our dedicated staff and physicians, and our communities – we have a challenging job ahead of us to work together to continue delivering the highest quality of healthcare to our residents in Muskoka and East Parry Sound.”  

Both Gayle Mackay and Sven Miglin were re-elected for a second term as Vice-Chair and Treasurer, respectively.
