Mission Statement

In co-operation with the Hospital and Board of Directors, we support health care at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital site through education, fundraising opportunities and the promotion of volunteer services to people.

Our Purpose

The purpose of this voluntary group shall be to co-operate with and assist the hospital and Board of Governors at all times.

Membership

The Auxiliary meets on the second Wednesday of each month, with the exception of July and August. General Meetings are open to everyone.

Volunteers help in many areas, such as:

Blood Donor Clinic
Books, Magazines and Plants
Chemo Clinic
Day Surgery
Diagnostic Imaging
Fundraising programs
Gift Shop and Information
Hair care
Office services
Portering
Pop & water & coffee machines
South Wing, Continuing Care
Surgeon's Clinic
